Effective date: September 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pulsehoarding Solution LLP, the operator of NamePilot (“NamePilot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information when you use the Android version of the NamePilot file-naming application (the “App”). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described below.
NamePilot helps you analyze, rename, copy, organize, and restore files that you explicitly select through Android’s system file picker or share with the App. Filename generation, supported document parsing, image text recognition, and PDF text recognition are performed on your device. We do not upload selected files, filenames, extracted document text, OCR output, custom naming templates, or file-operation history to our servers.
The App may locally process:
This information remains on your device unless you deliberately export a report, share a report, or use Android features to send a file elsewhere. Clearing App data may remove settings and history but does not rename, delete, or restore your files.
If you enable Analytics, the App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to help us understand feature usage, app sessions, screen interactions, approximate device characteristics, operating-system and App versions, performance information, and diagnostic events. Analytics events are designed not to include filenames, file paths, file contents, OCR text, document text, custom template text, contact details found in files, or other user-selected file data.
Analytics may involve transmission to Google of device and app-instance identifiers, IP-derived general location, product interactions, and diagnostic or performance information. Google processes this information under its applicable terms and privacy documentation. Analytics data may be processed in countries other than the country where you live.
You may disable Analytics in the App’s Data & Privacy settings. Disabling Analytics does not affect file naming, OCR, rename, copy, history, or undo functionality.
The Android App declares the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission. When Analytics is enabled and an Advertising ID is available, Google Analytics for Firebase may access the Google Advertising ID for measurement and analytics. We do not use the Advertising ID to personalize advertisements, and the App does not display advertising.
The Advertising ID is resettable and deletable through Android settings. If you reset or delete it, restrict its use, or disable Analytics in NamePilot, we will respect that choice. On supported devices, a deleted Advertising ID is returned as zeros. We do not combine the Advertising ID with filenames, file contents, OCR results, or persistent hardware identifiers, and we do not attempt to recreate or reconnect a deleted or reset identifier.
File access is limited to files or folders you select or share. Android may grant persistent access to a selected document-provider URI so the App can complete, retry, or undo an operation you requested. Depending on the file provider, Android or the provider may display an additional confirmation. The App does not scan unrelated storage.
Internet access is used for Firebase Analytics when enabled and for loading legal documents in the in-app browser. Core on-device file processing does not require uploading your files.
We do not sell your personal information. Google acts as an analytics service provider when Analytics is enabled. Information may also be disclosed where required by law, necessary to protect users or the integrity of the App, or involved in a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the App, subject to appropriate notice and legal safeguards.
Local settings and history remain until you clear them, uninstall the App, or the configured retention period removes history. Analytics retention is governed by our Firebase configuration and Google’s applicable controls. We retain analytics information only as reasonably necessary for product measurement, reliability, security, and legal compliance.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. Analytics transmission uses the protections provided by Firebase. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You remain responsible for reviewing generated filenames before applying them and for maintaining appropriate backups.
You can disable Analytics, clear local history and caches, reset or delete the Android Advertising ID, revoke file-provider access through Android or the provider, and uninstall the App. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive information about personal data. Contact us to exercise applicable rights. We may need enough information to verify and fulfill a request, but the App has no account system and we may be unable to associate anonymous analytics data with you.
NamePilot is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App is not intended to transmit Advertising IDs belonging to children or users known to be under the applicable age. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, law, or service providers. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice where legally required. Continued use after an update means the updated policy applies to future use, subject to applicable law.
